About:
The Mount Hood Railroad will offer Columbia River Gorge/Mt. Hood Tours from Portland four days a week beginning September 1. The tours will combine motor coach and dinner train travel over a six-hour itinerary.

The Columbia River Gorge/Mt. Hood Tours will pick passengers up by motor coach from Portland locations, including Union Station, and various downtown hotels such as the Benson, Hilton, and Doubletree/Lloyd Center.

The motor coach tour includes narration and a visit to Multnomah Falls, then continues to the Mt. Hood Railroad train depot in Hood River. There, passengers board the Mt. Hood Railroad train, and enjoy a three-course meal on a vintage dining car while touring the Hood River Valley to the base of Mt. Hood.

HOURS:
 Pick-ups in Portland occur between 2:00 and 2:45 p.m. Passengers return to their pick-up locations between 8:00 and 8:30 p.m.
